UNIT FOURTEEN
Remember, this year will include two new grades for each unit. So in addition to the "Vocabulary Quizzes you have been responding to, you will also respond to one to two "video prompt" questions posed through the FB group, as well as sending me a video of yourself signing the assigned scripture into ASL.
Assignments for this unit:
* View the embedded YouTube video below to see the vocabulary for this unit.
* When you have completed the assignments above and feel pretty good about what you have learned, you can click on the embedded YouTube video below (46:26) . It is a discussion between Dr. Bill and one of his students. It is very clear. Even if you don't understand something he is saying, focus on the text on the screen behind him, and it will make sense. Also, I believe it is closed captioned.
* Practice the sentences near the bottom of the page. There is no video for them, but I will add a video later. I want to practice them on your own then check yourself.
* Respond to the FB video post with a video of your own. Each unit this year will include one to two "video prompts," which will be included as a grade.
* Watch and learn the Phillipians 4:6 video below. You will send me a video of this scripture at the end of the unit (or before if you want). Here is a link to the Deaf Bible, but the video of only Phillipians 4:6 is embedded below (and glossed).
* Review the CL:3 video at the bottom of the page. We will start having a review of the different classifiers each unit, and although there won't be a direct test/quiz over them, they will appear in future videos/quiz sentences, so it's a good idea to study them.
* Download and read/study the file below, "Fingerspelling: Reading the Envelope."
